Hi, I’m Jolene Dames, Artist & Alchemist. My work transforms the chaos of life into beauty, balancing the unpredictable with deliberate precision. Grounded in the concept of navigation, each piece is an exploration of direction and understanding—both in the physical world and within myself.

With over 25 years as a scenic artist, I have shaped the visual landscapes of iconic Hollywood productions such as The Avengers, League of Their Own, The Bachelor, and more. This experience honed my craft and instilled the discipline and skill to transform imagination into reality. Now, as an independent artist, my work is a deeply personal pursuit to uncover and share my most authentic voice.

A lifetime of travel has profoundly shaped my artistic vision. Having journeyed through all 50 states and over 40 countries, I draw inspiration from the landscapes, cultures, and stories I’ve encountered. Symbols of navigation—compasses, celestial charts, and maps—are woven into my work, reflecting the universal human desire to explore and understand.
